Understanding why relationships are so difficult & what one can do about them

This session encompasses the latest in neuroscience research on the interdependency of the brain, mind and relationships. She will discuss what happens to the brain when triggered, why feelings are so complex, empathy and its pitfalls and the notion of integration. Finally, Ruth will explore tools for improving relationships, by looking at the neurophysiology of presence and reviewing a range of the literature on tools for well-being.
