Olga Kirsch is South Africa's only female, Afrikaans, Jewish poet. Yet her work is relatively understudied when compared to her contemporaries. This session explores her intersectionality through an analysis of her poetry. Despite the original work being written in Afrikaans, this session will be presented in English and translations will be made available.
