PANEL: The Sacred and the Taboo: What happened with the Strange Fire and Aharon’s Sons?

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

When Aharon’s sons Nadav and Avihu offer ‘strange fire’ to God, they are swiftly and severely punished. We are also told in the text that Aharon was silent. With four esteemed text teachers, we shall explore interpretations of what Aharon’s sons did wrong and consider what might be Judaism’s ‘strange fires’ today.
