Why is There No Fast Day to Commemorate the Holocaust?

I don’t have a convincing answer to this question, especially given that the Jewish calendar has several fast days to commemorate past tragedies, particularly Tishah Be’av. But thinking about this raises interesting and complex issues about how in fact Jewish tradition deals with national catastrophes, including glossing over them.
